A man was apprehended in the early morning hours of Saturday (19) on suspicion of stealing a guy in Pinheiros, in West St. Paul. The man was found thanks to the iPhone's GPS of the victim, police said Civil.
The robbery occurred around 23:30 this Friday (18), on the corner of Milk and Eugenio Teodoro Sampaio. The man took a boy's backpack and fled on a motorcycle. In the backpack was no money, documents, an iPhone and other objects.
Shortly after midnight, the boy helped the Military Police (MP) to locate the man accessing a computer and track the signal of the iPhone.
The sign led a team of PM directly to the suspect, who identified the victim, was arrested at his home in Osasco, in the metropolitan area.
