Apple offers music creation application for iPhone - Bagarai

Apple announced that GarageBand, its advanced music creation application, is now available for iPhone and iPod touch users. Launched earlier this year on the iPad, Apple’s GarageBand uses the revolutionary Multi-Touch ™ from Apple to make it easy for anyone to create and record your own songs, even for those who have never played an instrument before.

“GarageBand on the iPad has been a great success and we believe customers will love using it on your iPhone or iPod touch,” said Philip Schiller, senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing Apple. “The innovative Multi-Touch interface combined with Smart Instruments makes it easy to create great music, even if you’ve never studied music or played an instrument before.”

GarageBand features a collection of great fun Touch Instruments (Instruments Touch) which makes it easier for beginners and experienced musicians playing and recording keyboards, guitars, drums and downs in a variety of styles. Smart Instruments now allow you to choose from an extensive new library of custom chords so you can play and strum along with their favorite songs.

You can plug your electric guitar on the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to play and record through classic amps and effects pedals, or record your voice or any acoustic sound using the microphone. GarageBand lets you record and mix up to eight tracks and then share your music with friends or ready to send it to your Mac to continue to work on it in GarageBand or Logic Pro
