Gmail gains version for iPhone and iPad - TeK.sapo

Is available a native Gmail application for iOS, the mobile operating system that powers Apple’s iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Application “was designed to be fast, efficient and take advantage of the touch screen and reporting capabilities of the device, “says Matthew Izatt, Gmail product manager.

Among the features highlighted by Google and gathered as elements that make the product a more rapid and interesting than the competition, these are: inbox search, audio alerts and notifications for new messages; autocomplete e-mail addresses registered in the service contacts or uploading photos easier with the new button attached.

Google also ensures that the new version introduced significant improvements in efficiency, where all the news fit to facilitate the management of the mailbox. The creation of a priority mail box, or the ability to archive messages, label them or are also news report spam mail service, integrated into the iPhone version.
