Sales of the iPhone 4S will "absurdly" well - IT Web

According to several analysts, 4S iPhone sales are going ridiculously well. The device has in its release week, four 4 million sold in just three days. Since then, Apple stores and other retailers are smartphones with a few in stock.

Looking at Apple.com

all iPhone models are now listed for sale with delivery in one or two weeks. Chris Whitmore, Deutsche Bank, said the stores have been depleted stocks due to high demand.

“Our analysis revealed that the Apple stores with their inventory is depleted on a daily basis (about) 85% 90% 30 shops (approximately) surveyed. Apple employees are educating people to make appointments online (the first to arrive is satisfied) for the next day. ” He wrote in a statement to customers.

analyst Brian White of Ticonderega Securities, in his statement to customers said that pre-orders for iPhone 4S in Hong Kong was sold out in about ten minutes. White believes that the Chinese market will have an important role in the company’s growth in regions outside North America and Europe. He noted that revenue based on the Chinese market in Apple’s recent quarter came to a total of $ 4.5 billion, or 16% of total sales from Apple.

Consumer Reports – famous for its fierce criticism the iPhone 4 (both in the GSM version as CDMA) due to problems with the antenna – finally approved the iPhone 4S.

“The new smartphone from Apple was very well in our tests, although they look a lot like the iPhone 4, does not have the reception problems we encounter in the previous version.”

Consumer Reports said its unit tests listed the battery life as “very good” despite complaints from consumers about this topic. But he said it will retake the test once the problem is corrected.

The company also credits the improved camera, faster processor and personal assistant Siri.

Even with the recommendation, the publication made the latest version of Apple’s smartphone behind many Android based smartphones. Listed the Samsung Galaxy S II, LG and Motorola Droid Bionic Thrill as best buys 4S than the iPhone thanks to improved performance in wireless network, larger screens and own resources, such as image capture and 3D video.

HTC and Samsung recently surpassed Apple and became respectively first and second largest selling smartphone in the United States. Analysts do not enter a consensus on whether or not Samsung will stay on top of the list, since the demand of the iPhone 4S can lead Apple back on top late in the fourth quarter.
