Flipboard comes to the iPhone and is 10% of Cases, says CEO - Earth Brazil

Flipboard, iPad application that aggregates news feeds, Twitter and Facebook in magazine format, the iPhone arrived. The announcement was made by Mike McCue, CEO of the company during the event internet Le Web in Paris on Wednesday, also said that the app has been downloaded by more than 4.5 million users and is installed in one in 10 tablets from Apple.

The Next Web , the iPhone application has the same characteristics of the tablet version. The company also showed a new feature, a hood that cleverly captures the relationship with the user application, showing the most interesting news, updates and photos to be shared at that time without the user having to seek such information in the feed.

McCue said that the focus of Flipboard is to provide a great user experience, which should be expanded to other countries soon. The company, according to the CEO, intends to increase its revenue through its advertising service, selling full-page ads. The executive would not comment on the possibility of launching Flipboard for Android devices.

Le Web is a three-day event that takes place in Paris, France. Beginning on December 7, 2011, the conference will bring together big names of industry and technology market to discuss the strength and potential of the web overall.
